4月27日，中国青年报记者探访了杨永信网戒中心，确认孩子受到电击，并服用精神类药物，入院时大多被强行押制。

王新说，把各种精神疾病的治疗手段用在所谓的“网瘾少年”身上，可能会对孩子的身心造成二次伤害，“在国家尚未对‘网瘾’进行明确界定的情况下，就用封闭式集训的方式来对待这些孩子，难免有限制他们人身自由的嫌疑。”
